HOW TO USE OUR INTERACTIVE WINE MAP

Our maps utilize Google's "geocoding technology" for plotting the locations and links to specific wineries/vineyards, and other sites. Using this map is relatively simple but if you have not used Google maps before this page will provide a quick overview.

MAP TYPE
There are four map views available: Map, Satelitte, Hybrid and Terrain (our default view). The type of view you select will have a lot to do with what you want to see. Below is an example of the Hybrid.

ZOOMING AND PANNING
You can zoom in and out on the map depending on the detail you want to see. You can use the tool, located at the top, right side of the map, or you can use your mouse by double clicking the left button to zoom in or the right button to zoom out. You can also pan with your mouse with a click and hold the left mouse to move the map in the direction you want.

LOCATING WINERIES/VINEYARDS

To locate specific wineries you can either select one from the column on the right, or zoom in and click on the marked
winery you want to view. An information window will pop up with the winery's name and a link to their website (if they are in our database). See below.
